It’s over! but it’s not over!

The Premier League transfer window is now closed or has it?

The big news is Declan Rice is still a West Ham player and no late bid came in from Chelsea despite fevered speculation from the papers and social media.

Premier League clubs can still complete transfers by 1 am if they submit a deal sheet signed by both clubs and the player by 11 pm.

If West Ham does submit a deal sheet it is likely it will be for Chelsea centre back Fikayo Tomori on loan but that seems very unlikely now.

Scottish transfer league will remain open until midnight tonight.

The domestic window stays open until 5 pm 16th October allowing Premier League clubs to sign players on loan or permanent from EFL clubs.

Outbound transfers are still possible with a number of European league transfer windows still open.

Las Liga, Bundesliga, Seria A and Ligue 1 all closed today before the Premier league 11 pm deadline.

The MLS transfer deadline does not until Thursday, Oct. 29th

In the Netherlands, it is tomorrow Oct. 6th In Russia: Oct. 17th in Portugal: Oct. 25th allowing plenty of time to complete the Felipe Anderson loan after today.

But for tonight go to bed.    SW & HS

This is only big news, because the media have made up so many links and tried their best to force through a deal irrespective of what Ricey wants. It’s only a big deal when the media, including this site, makes a meal of this. An annoyance and bore – surely you have better things to write about like WHU failure to land any deals on deadline day!

We’ve had good news on departures and no news on further signings. Now please no bad news like signing Craig Dawson the relegation guru.

The owners did Not stump up the cash earlier in the window when they could have. The owners have underinvested & didn’t back the manager . They need to sell up I’m bored with them.

Not sure whether to be glad about Tomore not signing or disappointed with the rumours of a huge agents fee to be paid… sounds like typically poor mgmt again from Sullivan, now we will probably sign Dawson… the sooner we can move our directors on the better, we are poorly run and the shambles of a window, Coufal and Soucek aside shows that. There must be something wrong at the club that the best we could do was someone not proven in the PL or good enough for their own team and despite a financial incentive for them to do a deal they turned us down. GSB please go and sell to some professionals that can move us forward.

West Ham Fan No 32, if there is one thing I despise it is the huge agents fees that dog the game, those fees should be capped, it is players that go onto the pitch not the agents and for me first sight of a greedy agent and I would give them a massive body swerve.

It’s such an inconvenience these transfer windows, everyone is going to bring in great players and then window closes, the next one we will do Buissness. Poor fans maybe Trump is right, everything is fake.

Thanks Sean for the update. So Dec’s staying!! Thank God that’s over…That makes it in my book a successful window. We get Soucek and Coufal, and Rice stays. Now let’s get a decent EFL centre back…
