Carl Jenkinson looks set to make his League debut for the Irons against Hull City and is raring to go!
The right back joined the East Enders from Arsenal on loan until the end of the season but suffered a hamstring injury in the first half of his first game in the pre-season friendly against Schalke.
The 22-year-old is delighted to be back and said: ““Fingers crossed, I should be back for the next game.
Speaking to www.whufc.com he added: “It seems like a long time out, but I have only missed three league games, so it’s not been the end of the world. I’ll be back soon and hopefully I can do the business on the pitch.”
“We’ve made some great signings and that was half the reason I joined.
“The club is clearly making a big push this season and we’ve signed some more players since I signed. I think that’s a real sign of intent.
“Hopefully the players we have brought in, along with myself, can do ourselves justice in a West Ham shirt.”
Looking forward to watching Jenkinson,i think he could be a real positive alternative,to that right back slot. But in the left back birth,we are a bit thin on the ground, and if we now that other teams will. But im sure Cresswell will give 100% every game,on the evidence so far.
