Issa Diop could become a key and incredibly frustrating player for Mauricio Pochettino in the Irons hopeful victory roll over Spurs tomorrow.

The young Frenchman has been growing and growing in every game as his partnership with Fabian Balbuena has flourished.

He saw of Romelu Lukaku against United and was a mega performer in the 0-0 draw against Chelsea. Now he can show Poch exactly what he missed out on in the summer when he tried to sign him by marking Harry Kane out of tomorrow’s affair.

Diop is an uncompromising individual who was singled out as an imposing “monster” defender by Jose Mourinho after the United victory. He could be the Irons trump card against the regular danger man.

And tomorrow he will be determined to do a job on Kane as the battle of two top South Aerican managers gets underway at the London Stadium.

The Hammers could have Aaron Cresswell back although the Hammers boss will not announce his team to the squad until the usual four hours before the game.

However CandH believes the likely team will be: Fabianski; Zabaleta, Balbuena, Diop, Cresswell,  Yarmolenko, Noble, Rice, Obiang, Anderson, Arnautovic

CandH Prediction: Irons 3 Spuds 1

I had a dream; or, should I say nightmare – that Masuaku was at left back ! Let’s hope that dreams don’t come true !
