West Ham fans have voted for talisman Dimi Payet to stay at the club.
ClaretandHugh ran a poll on whether the club should sell or keep the player should what may be considered a proper offer be made by some club in January.
The poll followed a controversy over an interview given by the player to French TV in which he claimed he would not close the door on any option that may arise.
Although our poll gave Dimi a convincing victory the final margin may have been narrower than some may have believed likely.
The final result worked out like ths:
To sell him – 38 per cent (708 votes)
To keep him – 58.94 (1,098 votes)
Don’t Know – 3.06 per cent (57 votes)
Anyone know Highs age?
Don’t tell me you don’t know why they don’t know!
Why the feck have 57 people bothered to vote “don’t know”. If you don’t know, why bother voting? Amazing!
Agree with all of the Earlier comments. Another disappointing C&H poll that only fans the flames by picking up on a translation best ignored. No doubt Hugh will slap me down again, claiming the fans should have a voice. But this one is plain daft, based as it is on another lost in translation when Dimi was back home and sat in front of a gaggle of PSG fans. Move on.
No idea why a West ham blog would even come up with such a ridiculous poll. Why would any west Ham fan wanna sell him? Madness
Who fecking would come out with a poll in first place, best player since Devonshire maybe better, would never thought of getting rid of him either.
Why should we be surprised at the margin? The only surprise is that you don’t realise that the majority of the ‘sell’ votes were probably from Spuds.
