West Ham Latest News Claret & Hugh Exclusive

Claret and Hugh have exclusively learned the single condition required for Mohammed Kudus to leave West Ham in January.

A top London Stadium insider revealed this afternoon that while the Ghanaian winger’s departure is now considered “unlikely,” the possibility of a transfer hasn’t been entirely ruled out.

As previously reported, Kudus has become even more integral to the Hammers following Jarrod Bowen’s unfortunate foot fracture. West Ham’s summer signing from Ajax is now expected to cover the right-wing role in Bowen’s absence, effectively halting any immediate transfer plans.

The club had initially hoped to generate funds from Kudus’ sale to finance a January spending spree. Last week, the same source informed Claret and Hugh that West Ham would entertain offers exceeding £100 million for the wide man.

When asked if the transfer was definitively off, the insider clarified:
“The transfer is unlikely now, unless we get an offer we can’t refuse and think we can use the money elsewhere better.”

This essentially means that Kudus is no longer actively for sale, but a deal could still happen if a club is willing to meet West Ham’s lofty valuation.

Reading between the lines, Bowen’s injury has likely strengthened the club’s resolve to hold out for their top asking price. Any attempts to negotiate a lower fee will almost certainly be dismissed.

Meanwhile, signing a top-quality centre-forward remains a key priority for the Hammers this January.

Apparently we should have pushed the boat out to sign Josh King at one point. We went elsewhere though. What could have been if only…….

We need a new owner as nothing will change while Sullivan is in charge

  • John Ayris says:

If someone offers £100M he’ll be gone as quick as you like.

Pay a bit extra for Duran or anything at all for a manager though…

  • Ess_Bee says:

I think we need a midfield „general“ too. A quick box to box player. And a central defender „general“ … or two.

Should bookmark this for when we sign Callum Wilson.
