Lacazette -small flicker of Irons hope

|

Alexandre-LacazetteAlexandre Lacazette has not entirely ruled out a move to West Ham – according to his brother.

However, although this represents a flicker of hope the Irons are rating the chances now as being “very low” and a souce close to the negotiations has revealed why.

Speaking to Le Parisien, Alexandre’s Benoit Lacazette, said: “PSG were already very present last year. With the departure of Zlatan (Ibrahimovic)  they are looking to sign reinforcements in this position.

“It is not impossible that Alexandre will go there (West Ham) but it is not a certainty. We are not closing any doors. For the moment, we are looking.”

However, there seems only the smallest chance that the French international will be joining us as our source revealed: “he player has actually been talking to PSG since January.

“And although the Hammers have bid £31 million all they may have done is push the price up on behalf of Lyon with PSG.”

That was confirmed from inside West Ham where we were told: “PSG are strong favourites to sign him now but you never say never – anything can happen in this business.”
