Lanzini return date looks nailed on

Manuel Lanzini is expected to miss just two more Premier League games as he recovers from injury.

ClaretandHugh revealed exclusively on Saturday the play maker had been injured on international duty with the Argentine, taking a kick and playing through the pain barrier against Aston Villa.

That saw him miss Saturday’s fine win over Manchester United and with an international break coming up he looks likely to only be out for the Bournemouth and Palace games on Saturday and at the London Stadium on October 5.

The international break follows and we have been told he looks well on track to appear in the match against Everton at Goodison Park the on the 19th.

Meanwhile, Michail Antonio is making steady progress from his latest hamstring problem and there could be a return to action for Winston Reid this weekend.

He was expected to be involved in the last under 23 run out but the medics erred on the side of caution and he is now likely to get some action in the game against Sunderland on Sunday at Dagenham (12 noon kick off).

  1. Every time he goes on international duty he gets injured . They should start paying his wages for every game he’s out ,!
