Work is underway to install the largest TV screen in Europe at the London Stadium. Construction workers have removed temporary fabric panels containing West Ham players under the illuminated West Ham United sign and are preparing to lift a number of panels into place this week. This picture taken on Wednesday evening shows that the 12 metre fabric banners of Payet, Reid, Noble, Antonio and Kouyate have now been removed and cherry pickers have installed steel framework to hold the giant TV screen.
The high-definition (HD) screen, which will measure 83m wide by 12m high will be the largest TV screen in Europe. The whole stadium wrap is thought to have cost £5m but a recent Freedom of Information request to the London Legacy Development Corporation revealed the costs would be spilt between stadium owners E20 Stadium LLP and West Ham United.

Good news am looking forward to seeing it, nice to be making history again for a good reason COYI !!!
Who cares who pays for it. We wants it and we wants it now. Let’s go large. Forget Texas or la vegas. Everything’s large in Stratford. After all we have the biggest marks and Spencer’s in Europe. Or is it John Lewis? One of the two is the biggest anyway. And then we’ve got that massive helter skelter orbit thing. Of course we have to have the biggest screen. Just a shame we couldn’t have the biggest screen in the world that’s all. I’m a little dissapointed about that to be truthful.
