Late glitch as Hammers close in on Vlasic

|

West Ham were this afternoon still trying to  to push Nikola Vlasic’s transfer from CSKA Moscow across the line.

He was due in London for his medical as reported here and elsewhere but we understand there has been a  last minute glitches between the club and his agent Tonki Nartic.

The agent had warned this morning that despite the medical going ahead the deal was not closed saying: “We are in the process of negotiations with West Ham, they are progressing. But the deal has not been completed yet,”

This seems par for the course as deadline day gets closer and with the player known to be wanting a move badly it will be bizarre should it not happen.m  Local media say CSKA Moscow will definitely accept the bid.
Beyond Vlasic the club are also hoping for one more deal to be done in the loan mark and its expected that this may be in the left back position or up front although we are told that Jesse Lingard is now 75 per cent certain to remain in Manchester..

75% certain to remain in Manchester? Either he’s leaving United or he’s staying there. At this late stage, Jesse will know his preference. With Ronaldo arriving and so many above him in the pecking order……. Jesse’s best option is West Ham.

If we do not sign this guy after the press on this in the last few days I believe Moyes could walk. He has no competition in the attacking areas at this moment in time. Secondly we also need another attacking player in before the window closes.

He can stay in Manchester. Hes hardly rushed to join us. And by the sounds of it wont be if Vlasic joins.

Aren’t last minute glitches just part and parcel of all transfer dealings. Whether it’s one of the clubs or the agents, someone will always try to squeeze a little more out of the deal.
