Now this one really will go down to the wire.
West Ham are reported as having their ‘real deal’ top left back target revealed after several reports suggesting other players were bing looked at. After Senegalese defender El Hadji-Malick Diouf departed to Brentford, the search has been on to capture his replacement.
According to ExWHUEmployee’s latest article, the ‘real deal’ first target to replace Diouf is another Senegalese defender:
“Adama Boiro, a Left back from Atletico Bilbao.
“The move will be a loan with an option of signing. The Senegalese player will replace departing Senegalese left back Diouf.

Another name now reportedly the ‘prime target’ for West Ham’s left back slot; Adama Boiro
“The player has lived in Spain since he was four and is obviously fluent in the language.
“The club hope to move quick to secure his signature and we will update you when we have more. There are other back up options should this move fail.”
Quite where the club are with medicals- who can say. No update has been provided in respect of the state of club-to-club negotiations either which will obviously have to be completed before the player can travel for a medical.
Talk about a last minute deal. The catch of course is that the player will need to travel to London and have a medical before signing ahead of the 11pm deadline: West Ham have shown no inkling that they’re set ups for such dramatic last0-ditch transfer business.
Questions will be asked if West Ham’s recruitment team don’t get a deal done and registered by 11pm as the Irons have, presumably ,known for some time that Malick Diouf was on his way out of London. We’ll let you know as soon as we hear more over the players’ impending arrival or possible medical later.
Will confirm where club are_disappearing up their own arse.
No problem with medical Steidten aircraft is on runway only problem petrol needle shows zero.
Another fine mess. Still got 4.5hrs to contact all other backups just make sure they’re in London.
Everyone else seems to bring players in before they let players go. Not great doing business at the point everyone knows we’re desperate for a left back for instance. Doesn’t put us in a great bargaining position does it.
Martin, for a fan of WHU I’m always surprised by the delight you take when things go wrong … it’s as if you’re willing them to go wrong.
Why oh why is this left to the last minute. We have sold so many players which we knew had to be replaced. Yet once again we leave it to the last minute to get players in. What a way to run a club? If this was a business it would have gone bust many years ago. Once again people like who have supported the club for over 60years a season ticket holder travelling over 400 miles every home game to watch my club play. Have been let down again. How many more times can we supporters support our club when they treat us like this. We carnt blame Sullivan this time for the shambles
Ahh got to love the Planning we put into our transfers….i think we can haggle for another 7 hours or so over this deal before the club admit the Internet bill not paid so we have been cut off and annoyed nobody is using Fax machines now…We Tried!
an hour and a half ago it was the bloke from Roma
And before that the Manure youngster
In out..in out…shake it all about…West Ham playing games again…this is a joke, clocks ticking., and it will to late soon to sign any player on a permanent deal or even a loan…specially as every player has to undergo a medical before anything is signed…the board will probably blame the NHS for that, saying they couldn’t get an appointment 😂
