Leroy: ‘Bravery and stupidity in equal parts’

|

LEROY (1)Absolutely no question about it – Jon Moss’ decision to give Leicester City a last second penalty was a disgrace – embarrassing…and yes I genuinely feel he was trying to even things up for the one he gave to the Hammers.

There are no excuses for that but hold on a minute prior to that thoroughly awful call, he had – in my opinion – got everything else right and showed a lot of bravery.

To rightly send off Jamie Vardy for cheating – and he’d been at it all game – was brilliant  and he got it spot on when awarding the Irons a pen after warning Wes Morgan and Robert Huth for their dreadful behaviour in the box.

Incredibly brave decisions in front of a hostile crowd screaming and expecting the Title – I think the Hammers got decisions no other ref would have been brave enough to give…ridiculously he then ruined everything with the decision against AC.

Bravery and stupidity in equal parts

That was not even coming together. it was absolutely nothing and for me it was the action of a man who had bottled it. Really sad, wrong and as I say a case of evening things up even though he had got the earlier decision spot on.

When players carry on as Morgan and Hth had been it’s a pen every time for me. I don’t want to see that in the game and Moss could have been a real hero …instead he made himself into a villain.

Beyond that you have to ask what Enner Valenca was trying to achieve with that pass which led to the goal…that was shocking when he should have been putting his boot through it.

Valencia hasn’t done it and is one who is very much up for sale as far as I’m concerned. We have to find someone better.

It led to the penalty that should never have been given and more points lost. Some might think a point to the leaders is a good point.

It wasn’t. It was two points lost and for that we have to point the finger at a man who got so much right but the real big decision so wrong.

Well said Leroy – I was there, and the way the atmosphere developed, I could tell that virtually everyone connected with the home side was of the opinion “why aren’t they (meaning both our team AND the officials) rolling over and giving us everything so we can go and win the title?”

That being said, it was such a massive error from the Big Man, because I said ten minutes earlier “somehow, someway, someone will find a way to even this up”. He shouldn’t have given the referee an option to blow for an infringement.

Respect what you say , but its already been said . What was carol doing even giving him a nudge ? When there was no need to , shlupp was going nowhere ! Valencia looks like he wants away , he did nothing when he came on , except another pathetic attempt at goal similar to the 2 v arsenal !!, I had a feeling the talk of a top forward coming in would upset the apple cart ?. Carol was like a statue , making no runs into the box when we had the opportunity to put it in , they mostly went nowhere , he didn’t trouble huth or morgan at all,
Payet didn’t make one dribble , he needs to run at people more often , and lanzini looked tired , emenike and moses didn’t cut it , but ! We were still the better team ?
    Mugged again !!!!!
There are some big decisions to make in the summer , I’m sure Bilic knows now where we need strengthening ,
Let’s hope we don’t get Halsey in the near future , he defended his mate moss like one of the300 !!! TThere’s only on body that needs to be berated for the rucks that go on in the box, and that’s the FA , why would they allow such things in football when its breaking every rule in the book , a foul is a foul is a foul , end of !!
What’s the odds we get a penalty against for holding in the coming games ??

I would have thought that after the club said they are going to looking for a top striker in the summer that the players we already have should fighting to keep their place. No way should it have a negative effect. Every single club will be signing new players with the aim of making them a better side, does this mean that every player at every club plays crap because it might be them who are going to be replaced. Enner has not made an impact that a £12m player should. This is not his 1st season in the PL so he knows what to expect. Sell him along with a few others & send the loan players back. Wouldn’t keep any off them. Song, Moses & Emenike.

Dam right about Valencia. He should be up and running this season after a decent sttling in period last season. Instead he seems to be going backward, and not seeming to upset by it too. He gave the ball away in a dangerous place and time.

Playing like you don’t care is pointless,if they are going to be out the door then they should be showing prospective new clubs what they have to offer or be proving to the club they are at that they are either making a mistake selling them or show they deserve the chance to stay.I don’t believe all this bolloxs about unsettling them because we are after a new striker. As Essexclarets says teams are always trying to improve their teams with new signings,it doesn’t mean the players in the team just lay down & die for the remainder of the season.

I am a big fan of Enner but apart from this I feel for him big time. Bilic has continually preferred Carroll or Emenike up front. When a player is played continuously out of position what will happen – his confidence will suffer. I am sick of people criticising him, I believe Sakho and Enner are our best combination up front. It will also make Payet and Lanzini flourish. Hear ye are all complaining about Payet, Payet needs players with movement. Stop playing Valencia on the wing and we will see how good he is.

See Billy you can comment and not mention wet pants. And i must say a very good and pertinent comment it was. Agree with you 100%.

Lol,sorry mooro, they just make me laugh with their ludicrous comments.Let’s face it they said we were the ignorant pigs & morons on here but some of the things they say are far more stupid 🙂
