London Stadium 185 will provide security barriers and security stewards for the static protest arranged by Hammers United scheduled between 1 pm and 2 pm on Saturday close to the Aquatics centre and bridge 5 within the Queen Elizabeth Olympic park.
The letter from LS185 states demonstrators will be dispersed by the protest organisers at 2 pm and the barriers will be dismantled by LS185 contractors.
In advice to security stewards the stadium letter says banners may be used by protesters but must not be offensive and chants cannot be offensive either adding that no protest banners will be allowed into the London Stadium after the static protest has finished.
The letter warns that if protest banners do appear within the stadium they will be immediately removed by security and the owner subjected to potential ejection under ground regulations.
Hammers United have said West Ham fans and fan groups will come together this Saturday under the collective banner ‘West Ham United For Change’
Good luck and best wishes to everyone protesting tomorrow.
Our trashy 2 porn brokers directors and their know it all side kick need to see and hear the displeasure week in and week out from the TRUE supporters… We want all 3 of them to know we hate them for what they have ruined after 10 years.
A once passionate crowd enveloped by a stadium with a soul of its own, replaced by a cold, bleak athletics stadium filled by tourists and dischanted but loyal followers. Even loyal followers eventually vent their anger and once the ground swell arrives watch out you 3 you’re DONE!!!
If the people commenting on this post can’t understand why the fans are protesting then I truly believe they haven’t got a clue about football.
I am organising a protest against the protesters. Who is with me? Not sure whether to hold the anti protest demonstration at the same time as the actual protest or not though. Might be some confusion over who is protesting about what. Thoughts anyone?
Some will never be happy, others are particularly happy but see our situation as just another episode in the long history of following West Ham. The age of social media makes it all too easy for d!ckheads like that Colbourne fella who ran on the pitch against Burnley feel he has the right to ‘protest’. We all know it will end with conflict as the Board aren’t going anywhere and as the owners they actually have the upper hand. Chances are we will get relegated amidst players saying they were distracted by it all and then the great disgruntled will say the Board did it deliberately to get a lower rent….
A protest over what ? We have been poor for a lot of games but that’s the owners fault ?? They got pelligrini in who is a top class manager but more suitable for top teams .The players are to blame for most of the problems , not running enough , tracking back , I didn’t want Moyes back but he WILL keep us up so stop protesting and support them 👍👍
Why dont they sell up or just tell us in 2022 they will and they are going to fleece us for a couple of more seasons… I hate all 3 of them with exactly the same distain….i had a season tkt for the first season but I couldn’t put up with it any more.. Soulless bowl of a stadium no passion. Need binoculars when the ball is down the other end of the pitch… They are liars and con artists… I will never go why they are in charge… Breaks my heart but I support from afar… For the first time in my life 😢😢
