Lyon confirms West Ham bid for Lacazette

Alexandre-LacazetteIn an interview with French newspaper Le Progrès, Lyon President Jean Michel Aulas has confirmed that he has rejected multiple offers for Alexandre Lacazette, the largest being a €40m (£31m) bid from West Ham.

Aulas said: “In order to make a sale, all three parties need to be in agreement. We have refused several offers, with the largest being that of West Ham for €40m. That is also a response. I want to keep him but there is no certainty because he will decide in the end. I do not want a 28th August situation, as we have qualified for the Champions League, we find ourselves in the same situation as Monaco with Martial. A priori, he stays. If there is an offer that we cannot refuse, he will come see me and then that is it.”

The 24-year-old has excelled once again this season, having followed up his Ligue 1-leading haul of 27 goals in 2014/15 with an impressive 21 goals this term – second only to Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

  1. Time to move on we can get 2 brilliant forwards for that sort of money,Bony and Torre,
He would have to be super man to be worth any more,

  2. Yeah bubs, you could pay 35m & get Carroll,pay49m & get Raheem Sterling haha Are they the types of Supermen you mean 🙂

  3. I dont think you even get Supermans pants for £30 million anymore the way things are going lol

  4. No Rads I ment £20 million and get Payet and Lanzini but that was sheer luck,
Just think at £20 million Bony is looking a snip and we cold get half of that back from Hippo for super AC,Then sell Valencia and buy Toore,Get our £8 million for Tomkins and we have not spent a penny,
Bring in a freebie RB and we are quits then we can invest some Real money,
For instance sell Obiang for £8 million and spend £12 million and bring in Kante not a bad swap, spend another £8 million and bring in Ayew from Villa, that’s only £20 million,
If Sak leaves bring in another Forward with the money plus another £10 million for instance Wilson or Barahino,
    Now things are looking juicy,
Sell Reid and spend our last £10 mil on a great CH to play with Ogbonna
Maybe 1 or 2 more freebies not to old,
    Top 4 here we come
    BINGO

  5. I will leave it in your capable paws bubs, you have it all under control it appears.Im a bit p*ssed as it works. If you need me to have a quick word with Slav give me a shout haha All i need now is Matte to get me this figa he promised & my night will be sorted 🙂
