Magical Kudus ensures victory as Mubama grabs goal

Two magical Mohammed Kudus ensured victory as Mubama grabs his first Premier League goal from one assist  and Tomas Soucek‘s ninth in 18 games for club and country.

Kudus turned on the style struck near the end after the home side took the lead through a penalty early in the second half. First he beat four defenders to cross for Mubama to nudge home his goal at the near post before supplying a sublime cross for Soucek to volley home almost on time.

West Ham were their less than their usual selves in a first half which left an awful lot to be desired. Apart from a Soucek header from a Paqueta cross they had little or nothing to offer in the final third and it was the hosts who created better chances as the match progresses. The Hammers showed nothing like enough energy and when Paqueta was caught in possession by Berg Rodriguez down the right of the box but Amdouni couldn’t get a touch in front of goal.

A little later Areola  cleared under pressure from Amdouni before  Gudmundsson was is caught in possession by Aguerd and the chance was gone. Amdouni was again the dange man spotting  Koleosho’s run into the box forcing Areola into a big palm away before later nodding wide.

Koleosho was screaming for a penalty from a training Coufal leg but nothing was given other than a yellow card for Alvarez who had no need whatsoever to get involved with the complaints. A very poor half for the Hammers.

And it got a lot worse when immediately after the break Kudus brought down Koleosho  and Rodriguez slammed home the spot kick. Amoudini was then back on the case soon after slamming in a shot which Areola saved well. The Hammers were nothing like at their best as the home side dominated until the wonderful Kudus became the game changer so near the end.

Simply shocking performance stemming from a team selection that included ings and soucek. Moyes has to be go now, he is simply destroying us. Fans deserve better tgan this. Burnley were the better team and deserved to win, the result should hide nothing.
