Moyes can become a Hammers legend

Time for David Moyes to make his mind up

By Hughie Southon

David Moyes may possibly have to make a quick decision on the seemingly never ending Jesse Lingard saga.

Living on the midlands and being friends with many Nottingham Forest supporters supporters who watched him fail big time at the City Ground last season suggests to me it may be easier than many – including the boss – appear to think,

For having earned a reported £2000k a week at the club he featured in just 17 games and tore up no trees whatsoever.

The apple of David Moyes’ eye has since been training with us and is still considered not ready at at a time when the club has developed a magnificent midfield.

Reading the scant reports of that game, he had his moments and looked sharp until tiring later in the game, when he was taken off.

Speaking to the media later  Moyes gave his verdict on the ex- Manchester United man being re-signed by the Irons and certainly gave the impression a deal could be well and truly on.

Since then reports have arisen suggesting that three Turkish clubs are considering a move for the player.

Moyes meanwhile says “Jesse’s doing quite well and he’s getting his shape back but we will talk about this when we are ready.”

The manager has every right to dither in this case but the decision could easily be taken out of his hands over the next few days so come on David make your mind up time is here.
