Manchester United are there for the taking

|

It’s an old cliche but maybe it a great time to play Manchester United this weekend. Championship side Derby County humiliated a 10-man Man United by beating them 8-7 on penalties last night at Old Trafford to knock them out of the Carabao Cup.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho seems to be at war with his players by throwing them under the bus.

Earlier in the day before the defeat, Mourinho told Paul Pogba he will not captain United again, but insisted they have not fallen out.

Pogba watched from the stands as Derby, managed by former Hammer Frank Lampard, knocked out United.

The defeat came three days after a draw at home to Wolves which left Mourinho’s side eight points behind leaders Liverpool in the Premier League table.

Let’s hope we can add more to the Jose Mourinho pressure by beating them at Saturday lunchtime, there are there for the taking.

I would love to believe you Sean, the cup is one thing but the league I don’t ever remember Utd rolling over, especially after a humiliating defeat.
