More bad news as Irons prepare for Spurs

News that Nayef Aguerd is again suffering from, injury is particularly bad news give Kurt Zouma’s injury position.

We understand that the big central defender is currently wearing a boot and as a result hugely unlikely to be available for the game against Spurs.

As a result the Hammers look set to field their most makeshift defence of the season so farĀ  with Angelo Ogbonna the only recognised fit central defender.

It seems that he could well be joined by Kehrer at the heart of a back four or five with either Cresswell joining them and Coufal and Emerson at right and left back.

It’s a major blow of course as we prepare for a match against the old North London enemy.

Spurs were beaten 4-1 by Leicester City at the weekend and are now sitting in fifth place having lost three Premier League games from their last five games

  1. We had a good centre half on the books last year in Diop but a careless flippant comment by Mr Moyes but an end to that, we could do with him now. You reap what you sow I suppose.
A big mess at the back now with a mistake prone Kehrer, Oggy with no legs and and an out of position Johnson, I would be inclined to put Declan CB and Downes and Soucek in front of him for a couple of games.
