Moyes gives new injury update

David Moyes has given an injury update on several missing players

The manager explained that he lost Sebastien Haller to an injury on Wednesday, although he didn’t expand on any detail, it is thought to be a groin strain suffered in training.

He also revealed Robert Snodgrass absence explaining he felt a problem in his back which might be a disc problem adding that the fellow Scott has also twisted his ankle.

On Angelo Ogbonna’s absence, he revealed that the centre back picked up a hamstring injury very early in the return to training but the gaffer added he shouldn’t be too far away from a return, maybe a couple of games.

Although he didn’t mention Arthur Masuaku he is also understood to be recovering from a knock he suffered in a practice game against QPR.

Pablo Zabaleta and Carlos Sanchez whose contracts expire nine days time were not mentioned so their absence appears to have nothing to do with injuries.
