Moyes has Rice Chelsea hopes

David Moyes is today being reported as hoping Chelsea come in for Declan Rice and ready to offer Conor Gallagher in a player plus cash deal for Declan Rice.

Moyes is reported by The Sun as being a huge fan of Gallagher who has spent loan spells at Crystal Palace, Swansea, West Brom and Charlton over recent seasons but became a regular in the Blues side last season as it finished in seventh place .

Rice looks certain to leave with Chelsea, Man United and City claimed to be ready to launch bids after Arsenal’s £80 million fell short of the West Ham requirement but Moyes is looking for Chelsea to get involved.

He is is though to want Gallagher as part of a deal after a particularly good spell at Palace where he scored eight goals in 42 appearances two seasons back.

He’s a feisty performer however, having received 13 yellows and one red card for the Blues last season.
