Moyes has sympathy for former Hammer

|

David Moyes said he felt sorry for former Hammer Scott Parker after West Ham’s crazy win over Fulham.

The West Ham manager was asked by reporters post-match whether he thought West Ham’s goal was offside in the build-up to Soucek’s goal.

The gaffer admitted he would be really disappointed if he was in Scott Parker’s position revealing Seb Haller’s run was offside.

The 57-year-old boss complained about the current offside rule saying we have a lot of bad rules and we are not sure about VAR or the handball rule either.

Moyes says the current offside rule where they are delaying the flag is a terrible rule in his opinion adding they the Premier League will see more injuries.

The contentious issue was that a ball into the box was aimed at Haller, who was in an offside position, but play continued and the ball was headed down to Benrahma by the Fulham defence to produce the assist for Soucek to strike.

“None of us really know the offside rule now,” said Fulham boss Scott Parker. “We’ve got VAR, every gadget and gimmick and there are so many things to look at nobody knows.

“He’s (Haller) interfering with play, my defender can’t leave it.”

Do away with VAR & TV slo-mo replays. We had a couple of corners that were given as Fulham goalkicks. No ‘justice’ there.
Fabianski’s penalty save was brilliant. Hope we learn from this poor kick that we should practice getting the job done – not having a giggle with clever tricks.
Cresswell played better when doing his bit off the ball, too. Well done Aaron. Stay alert!
Sorry Scott, your Looky charm let youy down.
