Think he should ve more concerned about the midfield. Kouyate and Obiang werent at their best at all today.

Could see this coming in all honesty and thats without hindsight.Everyone was tipping us to stroll this after our recent run and their awful form, but thats West Ham in a nutshell. For the first time in a month its been our turn to take it to the opposition and it backfired big style. If we are going to go for it at least have a recognised striker on from the start. After his bragging Mr Moyes is going to have to get it right at Bournemouth away which will favour us and then its a very similar fixture against West Brom at home.Lets see what he has learnt after todays shambles.

Very frustrated fan! Why is an overweight and clearly unfit Antonio playing up front when we have 3 strikers on the bench?
Mr Moyes why did Reid have to ask you who was going to take the penalty, was this not decided before the game? Also can you please train the one footed players to use there weaker side, come back in the afternoons if need be! Also when looking for new players can you make sure they can pass the ball to their own team mates and make sure they have pace which we are sorely lacking.

One positive, we’ve only have Moyes until the end of the season! result! COYI

Moyes you got it so wrong from the start. To start Ayew ahead of Sakho was just insane, to play Antonio who had not trained until yesterday insane. To bring on Carroll and go back to the terrible uneducated route one football was insane. Without Lanzini and playing at home to a team below us we had to play 3-5-2 with Sakho and Hernandez starting and Arnie in behind them. You had no row with Sakho – I think you have not been telling us the full truth. He is our best striker by some distance. I thought the Carroll era was over but if you continue to play him you wont be here next season.

    • JRS says:

Agree that’s exactly what I wanted to see Chic & Sahko up front with Arnie behind. Those 2 complement each other well & Arnie to roam & create & score in #10.
He said he sees AC in our future in earlier interview.
I hate that Antonio is getting some much hate but like u said he wasn’t training was last day decision.
He is no doing the same thing Bilic did with Antonio but Up front now.
Past couple years we would of killed for 3 fit strikers now we have them & they are all on the bench.
Chic needs more then 10m cameos & like Sahko or not he is our most rounded CF if we could sign him for another year I would if they would play him. Those 2 up front could be very good & left & right foot so good positioning

  • hammers64 says:

Cannot blame Sakho or Hernandez for feeling ****ed Off after being left out again.Antonio is far from fit and Ayew was never going to score that pen.Why didnt Arnoutovic grab that ball and take it?.

    • JRS says:

Arnie should have he was stand out on form this game by far the best on pitch. And even if not him Adrian can score a PEN we’ve seen it. But Ayew hasn’t been starting looked nervous not a PEN taker.
Should have that worked out in games & would think Arnie would be first w/o Noble anyways.
We had possession but couldn’t pass & looked unorganised again.

  • Hammerite says:

Aye, Caroll, Antonio,Obiang,Kouyate all poor today. Penalty would have changed the game.
Please can we have some proper midfield players.
By the way ref must be a Geordie or partially sighted!

  • dusty miller says:

Moyes picked the team? We were absolute dogs ****e in the middle today ! Kouyate is pants now? Last week young Rice was far beetter and the defence looked far better with Collins I know we missed Lanzini but surely that was all that needed to be sorted ? Not a good change in selection of players this game than the Stoke game Mr Moyes???????

  • jimbo says:

Concede 3 against a team who haven’t mustered much more than that away from home all season to date? There is the problem. Midfield gave no protection, defenders lacked pace and guile and even Adrian was poor. When Diame scores against you, you know you are shyte!
Two goals plus a penalty wins home matches 99.9% of the time, but not when you cannot defend and are so open against the break. Shocking really. Equally embarrassing was Ayew taking the pen. You couldn’t make that up, everyone thought he would fail to score it so how did this happen?
We should have gone into this game with a plan similar to those which have seen us pick up points. Keep it tight, defend in numbers and play more on the break. But no, think Moyes is getting a little cocky and yesterday it bit him royally. Hopefully he will now show he learns from his errors.
