Moyes on Lingard

|

David Moyes seems pleased with the way Jesse Lingard is progressing as he attempts to earn himself a West Ham contract.

We reported yesterday the jury remains out on the attacking midfielder but despite an average game against Ipswich Town behind closed doors many still believe the former Manchester United star will get the gig at the London Stadium.

Speaking to the media recently, as relayed by The West Ham Way, Moyes has shared an update on the possibility of West Ham re-signing the Englishman.

Indeed, Lingard has apparently been working very hard in training at Rush Green, with Moyes praising his “great attitude” behind-the-scenes.

And he gabe an indication of where he was with the possibility of offering the player a contract despute having sevedral other fine midfielders on board.

The Irons head coach had this to say which from the player’s poinyt of view was very encouraging indeed: “Jesse’s doing quite well and he’s getting his shape back,

“But there will be no discussion on Jesse yet. When we’re ready, we will do; but he’s working hard and he’s shown a great attitude to his work.”

However, with the player now being offered to Turkish clubs it may be a quick decision will need to be made by the boss.
