Nasri decision on the way

|

Manuel Pellegrini will make his mind up on whether Samir Nasri will get a six month deal with the Hammers at the start of January.

The former Manchester City midfielder has been training at Rush Green as he bids to get himself up to fitness as he bids to land a six month deal with the club.

It would have a year’s option attached should he be offered the deal but sources inside the club are keeping their cards close to their chests on the outcome.

A senior source told ClaretandHugh by e mail: “The situation is being closely watched with Samir but we won’t be making a decision on the contract until the beginning of next month.”

We understand that and deal would be some way from the reported £80k a week and would be closer to around £40k plus appearances which is thought to be acceptable to the 31 year old.
