Nasri fitness levels may halt Hammers offer

|

Samir Nasri’s move to West Ham United was e in danger tonight with the Irons  concerned about how long it will take him to reach the fitness levels required in the Premier League.

Earlier today a senior Hammers source told Claret and Hugh by telephone that a six month deal with a year’s permanent option was on offer was likely and whilst not confirming his wages said that some of it would be related to appearances.

However after The Telegraph reported that the deal had hit a snag we contacted our source who confirmed the club were concerned about the player’s fitness levels discovered during his medical.

They are now considering the offer they have made and it’s no better than fifty-fifty the move will go ahead unless the medical staff can give assurances about player being able to reach the required fitness levels by January when he is free to play following an ongoing suspension.
