New three year deal on way for Irons cult hero

|

adrianWest Ham are ready to offer Adrian a new three year deal in the summer.

The Spanish stopper has fought his way back into the team after being dislodged by England No 1 Joe Hart and has been highly impressive since his recall.

And the club’s decision to offer him a new deal comes just a few weeks after the keeper said he wanted to end his career at the club.

ClaretandHugh has learned that the club is keen to offer him a three year deal with a two year option in the club’s favour.

His current contract runs out next summerย  and the club will move quickly at the end of the season to seal a deal with the deal which could see him still at the club in 2022 and beyond.

In a recent intrview on the official website Adrian – who has become a Hammers cult hero among the fans – declared: “Itโ€™s one of my wishes to finish playing here at West Ham. ”

He now looks certain to get his wish.

Then find a good younger understudy for Adrian like Gunn, Ward, or bring Trott up.
