Newcastle join race for Bowen

|

Newcastle are reported as being ready to join the race for Hammers star man Jarrod Bowen. The winger enjoyed another good game in last nights Europa League victory against SC Freiburg. Bowen was given his chance as a striker in Michail Antonio’s absence, but pulled onto the wing to assist Lucas Paqueta with a delightful cross.

Earlier this week Claret and Hugh revealed that West Ham may have to cash in on Bowen. Despite protracted contract negotiations, the player is no closer to signing a new deal. Bowen can leave West Ham for free in the summer of 2025, a situation which has alerted a number of clubs.

Newcastle join Bowen race: Liverpool and Newcastle now want West Ham winger.

According to a report from Talksport, the 26-year-old is being considered as a potential successor to Mohamed Salah, who might make a move to Saudi Arabia at the end of the season. Liverpool will consider selling Salah to avoid losing him as a free agent.

Eddie Howe has shown a keen interest in the West Ham winger for quite some time. Newcastle, with their financial clout, are serious contenders for signing Bowen. The prospect of joining clubs like Liverpool and Newcastle is clearly something that appeals to the former Hull City star.

Bowen has been in excellent form for West Ham this season. The winger has scored five goals and one assist in seven Premier League matches.

Bowen will get the opportunity to showcase his skills against Newcastle at The London Stadium on Sunday.
