No Hammers exits !

No exits !

Well, we have to admit that we had a pretty decent transfer window.

But all the same, slightly frustrating.

Not the lack of a new striker but the lack of exits, as it is plain to see that Danny Ings, Maxwel Cornet and Aaron Cresswell do not figure in our Supremo’s plans this season.

And now it appears that the Irons allegedly tried to off-load one yesterday.

It was our 13th most expensive signing under Moyes

Any ideas?

It was the 31 year old, £6.5m per year Danny Ings

Various media outlets have claimed that Ings was offered to Everton on deadline day, yesterday, whilst we were trying to sign Hugo Ekitike from PSG

Ings joined the Hammers from Aston Villa for £15 million in January which makes him Moyes’s 13th most expensive signing during his two spells in charge at the London Stadium.

Had West Ham signed Hugo Ekitike on deadline day and sold Danny Ings, it would have been a perfect end to a very useful transfer window for the club. Although sadly, it was not to be.

No doubt our Supremo will try again in January.
