Nobes, a happy man !

Mr West Ham , himself – Mark Noble has said that his side are desperate to win more trophies, following our recent Europa Conference League success.

Nobes is the epitome of West Ham with claret and blue blood running through his veins.. Since taking up his role as sporting director he has helped considerably behind the scenes in bringing in signings such as Alvarez and Kudus and helping with their acclimatisation to the West ham way..

Sadly , he never got to win a some silverware during his time as a player, but he is enjoying our current renaissance

“The feelings, the experience we had in Prague was phenomenal,” our former captain confirmed to the club’s Official Website. “Not just for the players, but for the staff, fans and everyone associated with West Ham,”

“It makes you want more. It makes you want to win something else.” As we all know the mighty Irons have not troubled the cup engravers for many a year,  but for the first time in ages the London Stadium is buzzing with a new optimism.

“Now we’re going into [the Europa League] having won a European trophy and can we win another one? You never know.”

The Irons will face Freiburg, Olympiacos and Backa Topola in the group stages of the Europa league as they look to improve on their semi-final finish last time in the competition. “It’s a tough group,” he admitted, “but you look at the teams in the draw and they’re all tough.”

“It’s something to look forward to and we’ve started the season well. We’ve got a top team from Germany, a top team from Greece and we have to go to Serbia too, which is a really tough place to go and play.”

“It’s exciting – you want to play in the big games, you want to go to the fantastic cities and play the best teams. That’s why we’re in this competition.”

That is exactly the sort of fighting spirit we expect from him !
