Nobes pays credit

|

Mark Noble has probably enjoyed his most enjoyable season as a Hammer and of course it’s not quite all over for the fabulous Irons servant.

Indeed, it’s entirely fitting that he should end his amazing Irons career with a European ‘farewell tour’ as the squad head for the Europa League next term.

This one certainly hasn’t been his busiest as a player given the quality the manager has brought in but Nobes is the first to pay credit to the signings who have made the 20/21 the finest in our history as far as points achieved is concerned.

He is likely to remain a c9ver and Cup player next season but he seems more than happy enough in his final days at the club.

And like most others puts the club’s achievements down in large part to the amazing spirit engendered by the manager and backroom staff.

He has been talking to the club’s official website on the situation and said: ” With the players we’ve got, team spirit goes a long way in football and I’ve always said that.

When you bring the likes of big Tom in, Vlad, Jarrod, Saïd, everyone has stuck together.

Jesse has come in on loan and big Daws has come in and it’s just gelled. It just shows you that, if you work as a team and as a collective, you can really do well.”

“Yes, we’ve got some top players but they all work for each other. You saw that on Sunday, when we didn’t start so well and the players were a bit nervous because the fans were back, but once got that first goal we settled down and controlled it from there.”
