Pre VAR thousands of fans complaining about officials decisions. Now, with the delays And surprisingly, wrong decisions even after seeing VAR it’ still needs to be tweaked to be worthwhile.
I don’t think it matters as much whether these decisions went for or against us, more that the correct decision was made in the end. That’s the point of VAR, right?
In all but two of these 12 situations that was the case. In the two that were obviously incorrect (both red cards which were later rescinded), the referee made the final decision, not VAR.
