Oggy names his very special Hammer

|

Angelo Ogbonna has seen more arrivals than most players at the club over the last few years so his opinion on how they have performed is very worth listening to.

The central defender has now been at the Irons for eight seasons and appeared in 192 games – a star and one of the most under-rated central defenders in the country over that time.

Now the veteran has singled out one player in particular as a very special Hammer who has been such an outstanding individual since arriving at the club.

Speaking to Sky Sports News [via Football Daily] today ( Tues) he  was full of praise for Jarrod Bowen and how the level of his game has lifted since he arrived at the club.

He is another who is talking about the astonishing rise of the No 20 since he decided that West Ham United was to become his club for the next seven years.

He said: “Ever since he [Bowen] signed for the club, he’s been unbelievable and he’s the one of course with Declan Rice, he made history, scoring that last goal in the Europa Conference League final.

“His development is very very important for the club, important for him, he really deserves contract, for the sacrifice he’s made.”
