Oggy’s experience of Italian football could prove vital

|

There are few players in the West Ham squad who deserve the biggest Final we have faced in years more than Angelo Ogbonna.

The central defender has been in excellent form for most of the season since returning from a big injury last term and has been an uncomplaining member of the club for eight years.

Now his experience of Italian football could be vital as we go into the match against Fiorentina in Prague next week and he is clearly extremely excited about the prospect.

However, whether he gets the call with Nayef Aguerd and Kurt Zouma both available remains to be seen although there are very few who would probably not want him to have the chance of an appearance.

It’s been a big journey for him and the club – one of the most important games of his life – something which Mikey Antonio is true of him too.
