Olympic Stadium Rock Concert picture special

|

The Olympic Stadium prepares to open it’s doors to the public for the first time this year as AC/DC stage a rock concert this evening. Doors open at 5pm tonight with  the support act on 7pm and AC/DC taking to the stage at 8:15pm. The concert is required to finish by 10.30pm.

Axl Rose has joined AC/DC to complete the world tour. The Guns N’ Roses singer replaced Brian Johnson in May through to the conclusion of the Rock or Bust tour in Denmark on June 12.

Organisers have laid elaborate flooring to protect the £1m+ Desso grass pitch  from up to 80,000 concert goers.

Yesterday we revealed that the costs involved in preparing the stadium for the AC/DC concert are estimated to exceed any income AC/DC paid to the stadium organisers. Inside sources among the builders told ClaretandHugh: “The entire building work had to stop for seven days and contractors had to clear vast quantities of their stuff. It looks likely to us the extra building costs created by this vacation of the site will exceed any income from AC/DC and this forgets the fact things are all delayed a week.”

What’s all this about then on SKy Transfer Centre then guys???

West Ham have begun talks over a move for Besiktas midfielder Atiba Hutchinson, according to the player’s agent.

The 33-year-old played for Hammers boss Slaven Bilic in Turkey, and his agent Niclas Jensen claimed talks are ongoing.

“Talks are going well but we still need time. West Ham are not, however, alone. There are other clubs that want Atiba.”

I have lost count with the amount of times we were allegedly linked with him over the last few years, I will believe it when I see it.
