Palace to miss duo for West Ham clash

|

Crystal Palace is unlikely to without Mamadou Sakho who is doubtful through injury while Luka Milivojevic is suspended after picking up five yellow cards.

Former Hammers Academy product James Tomkins who made 243 appearances for West Ham is unlikely to play on Saturday evening as he yet to make an appearance this season for the Eagles. He moved to Palace for £10.5m in the summer of 2016. He has made 87 appearances for Palace scoring 7 goals since his move.

Another former Hammer in the form Cheik Kouyate is likely to start and has been a regular. The Senegal midfielder joined the Eagles after four years in a claret and blue shirt. He made 147 appearances for the Hammers scoring 15 goals before moving across London in August 2018 for £11m. He has made 42 appearances for Palace so far without a goal to his name as yet.

I am sure both former Hammers will receive a warm welcome back at the London Stadium whether they play or not.
