Pellegrini shares fan frustration

|

Anxious Hammers fans have been joined in their frustration by manager Manuel Pellegrini.

One point from the last three games has seen the anxieties and pressure rising among the fan base but the boss is as frustrated as any of us.

And he has refused to join the discontent expressed  here and elsewhere over the lost two points against Sheffield United at the weekend.

It’s an easy old game from the stands of course but for all the complaints it has to be said that there was a vast improvement on the previous week with a win against Arsenal in the bank earlier in the week.

The trouble in the nutshell was a too easily conceded equaliser and missing two or three very good chances to bury the Blades as a result.

All of that left the manager – like the rest of  us – wringing his hands in frustration at an unexpected outcome.

He is reported by Talksport as saying: “Of course I share that frustration, I think that the players also share that frustration.

“But I don’t think we can have any complaints about the performance of our team today. Maybe for different reasons we didn’t win, but nothing to do with the game we played against Everton.

“That’s why we were not happy because home games we couldn’t win, but we must continue working.

“Because there are a lot more games to play.”

No complaints about the performance ???
Rubbish mate ! if you think that performance is acceptable you need to get on your bike.
As one punter said on another forum, ” we play with the pace of an asthmatic Snail”.
    Reckon he’s about right.
Think Pellegrini has got a tough time ahead of him…………

He compounds the frustration lately.Subbing Anderson and Snodgrass on Saturday was criminal and cost us the extra 2 points. We desperately need a midfielder in the mould of Maddison. To think we could have had him and Andy Robertson when he was at Hull but baulked at the asking price. The fans could all see their potential but not the powers that be it seems. After Hugill it seems we are terrified of plundering the lower leagues even though there are some diamonds in the rough there.Time to change tack.I for one would love to see us get Bowen from Hull City before one of the big boys snap him up.

Really. Pelligrini is one of the reasons the fans are frustrated. He continues to tinker with the defense, just when players like Frederick’s finally have a good game, then gets dropped. He continues to play off-form Anderson, and won’t bring in on fire Holland. If the kid was playing for one of the big clubs, he would have cemented his place in their first team. The strikers … Yarmo, Anderson, Lanzini show no intent in getting Haller onto the scoresheet, but are playing for their own glory. Yet only Yarmo has been clinically goal wise. So no … our frustration is with the 3rd most highly paid manager in the Premier League.
