Former West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini and ex Hammers director of football Mario Husillos have been tipped to return to Malaga.
The news comes after Malaga suspended manager Victor Sanchez after a sexually explicit video was leaked online.
Sanchez was seen exposing himself in the X-rated footage, wearing a Malaga-branded t-shirt.
He claims he was being extorted with the former Spanish and Real Madrid midfielder saying: “I wish to inform that I am the victim of a crime against my privacy through harassment and extortion. The matter is in the hands of the police and I am following their instructions. In any case, I want to inform that sharing intimate content of any person without their consent is a crime, whether on social media or in any other way, according to Article 197 of the criminal code.”
Pellegrini spent three successful years at Malaga between 2010-2013 and is seen as cult hero by local supporters.
A return to Malaga by Pellegrini could be good news for West Ham as it would limit their compensation package needed to be paid after his sacking at the end of last year.
