These two men were immense this afternoon as we completed the most extraordinary treble by beating Manchester City having already seen off Arsenal and Liverpool.
In the face of relentless non stop pressure, Winston Reid harnessed his magnificent defence with a performance which will live in the memory of everybody who witnessed it.
Reidy really was the emperor of all he surveyed in a second half which shred virtually every nerve in the bodies of every Hammers fan.
He read every situation, stepped in when all was lost and continued to organise with Adrian also performing heroically in the Hammers goal.
One second half save which he turned over the top was as good as anything you will ever see. What a day …and what a night ahead but these men were the heroes of an astounding performance but he also saved brilliantly from Ya Ya Toure and Aguero. He was extraordinary.
Memorable hardly does this game justice.e. This truly was a performance of a lifetime and it will be never forgotten.
