Poll: Should Andy Carroll go to the Euros?

|

andy-carroll-west-ham-arsenal_3445626Slaven Bilic was asked whether Andy Carroll should be included in the En gland squad this summer after his hat trick on Saturday “I’ve said my opinion about a few of our players.” said Bilic. “Mark Noble, Aaron Cresswell, and Andy Carroll is definitely in the category that he has to make you think about him because there are not many players capable of doing what he is doing. But it’s Roy’s decision.

“His problem is not consistency in terms of little injuries. A lad who is six foot whatever and with so many kilos – he needs to be fit. Now he is fit we hope he is going to last like this for years.”

When Carroll was asked if he was thinking about a call-up for the tournament in France this summer, Carroll said: “Without a doubt. I have to keep that in the back of my head, but I have to play each game here and see how it goes,” he told BT Sport.

So we are running a poll whether Carroll should be included in Roy’s plans?

Happens every time he has a good game. It’s embarrassing. He will probably be injured by the time of the Euros anyway.

Leave it out,is someone having a laugh. After one match against the gooners flaks of a defence.Lets revisit this after he has played against Morgan & Huth, two CBS who relish a battle, not the tarts in Arsenals defence, lol

Every time I see a West Ham player linked with England I can’t help but think of Dean Ashton.

From a purely selfish point of view I’d be happy to see Noble, Cresswell, Payet, Lanzini, Kouyate, Reid and Carroll all excluded from national squads.

After one very good game? Yes he’s played well in other games this season but I don’t think you can judge right now……he has to keep doing it for the remainder of the season to stand a chance.

How come that as soon as any english player has a decent game for us everyone start the, he should be picked for england?? If you listen to some people the England starting 11 should have Noble, Antonio, Cresswell & Carroll on the pitch.

  • Michael Miller says:

I don’t think he should go for a number of reasons.

Firstly, his style of play is just about tolerated by English Referees but will definitely not be in European Competitions- he will be continually be penalised and lucky to get through a game – the same problem that Peter Crouch had when he played for England!

Secondly, he needs to put a string of games together before he could be considered – his fitness issues are a huge concern.

Finally, he’s got to be behind Harry Kane, Jamie Vardy, Daniel Sturridge, Theo Walcott, Danny Welbeck, Wayne Rooney and possibly even Troy Deeney in the pecking order.

  • bubs says:

Voted for don’t care, because he will have to be on the run of his life to get to the end of the season and the training and doing up his shoes or other hard daily tasks before Woy will drop a darling Liverpoor player to put him in the squad,
Vardy deserves to go Rooney is still the class act up front for us,Wellbeck is a better around player,so it’s the battle of the sick notes and who offers Woy a better option ?
With Henderson getting injured Noble has a better chance which is a zero as well
Just want our players fit for next year not coming back from Europe after 3 games with their head between their toes,

I have always been proud of west hams rich international history, winning the World Cup etc. The West Ham academy supplying many England players in the past Always made me proud. Hope to see West Ham players in the England team again one day so I can enjoy watching England again. I find it hard with all those spurs players in the team.
