Poll verdict on Hammers fate this season

|

A small majority of West Ham fans believe the club will finish the relegation places at the end of the season.

The latest ClaretandHugh poll – asking where the club will be positioned at the end of the campaign – shows that 38 per cent ( 541 votes) reckon they are booked for a place in the bottom three.

A total of 420 – or 29 per cent – believe the Hammers will escape relegation by the skin of their teeth and finish either 16th of 17th.

Those voting the team would finish in 14th or 15th spot worked out at 20 per cent of the vote ( 292 ) while just over seven per cent (109) were confident the club could finish as high as 11-13th.

However, less that 10 per cent of the near 1400 polled reckon the club could make the top 10 by season end.
