Poll: Will West Ham win, lose or draw against Wolves?

|

The Hammers travelled to Molineux to take on Wolves in December last yeat and suffered a 2-0 defeat.

Leander Dendoncker opened the scoring with a first half header, and although Robert Snodgrass had a great chance to equalise, the hosts sealed the points late on through Patrick Cutrone.

It’s the Hammers who lead the all-time head-to-head between the clubs, with 29 wins to Wolves’ 21. There have been 14 draws. Wolverhampton Wanderers are enjoying another remarkable season under Nuno Espirito Santo.

Having qualified for Europe in their first season back in the top flight, they are again in the mix for the Europa League positions, while still going strong in that competition too.

Raul Jimenez’s goals have had them round the top part of the table for much of the season, while only Liverpool have lost fewer than their six league defeats in 2019/20.

Before the pandemic called a halt to the campaign, Wolves had drawn their last two outings, at home to Brighton in the league and at Olympiacos in Europe, and West Ham will hope to make it three without a win for the Molineux side on Saturday.

In today’s Claret and Hugh poll we ask whether West Ham will win, lose or draw on Saturday.
