The Portugal Under-21 looked set for a switch to to the promotion chasing League One outfit but his hopes were dashed by then head of recruitment Tony Henry.

The ‘paper claims the deal collapsed because the Irons required a loan fee for anĀ 18-year-old who is yet to make an appearance for the first-team in the Premier League this season but has featured for the Hammers in the Carabao Cup.

Henry’s future at the club has since been cast in controversy after he was suspended following the eruption of the Africagate e mail affair.

Fair enough about a loan deal if they wanted him for free, Quina is wasted in the championship or any UK leagues we should be loaning him abroad where he can play proper football not the hoofball the UK serves up for the most part, he is also not physically big enough yet for our lower leagues.

Agree fair enough tho I would of loaned him to Bradford or Sheff utd. Would be good to see him out on loan. Are some championship sides that play good football & league 1 sides. As we saw from Wigan. It’s all about picking the right club.
Would of preferred Sameulsen somewhere more mid table but has created chances & won a Pen but do better w attacking players around him not bottom of table.
Two years ago he was great for Peterborough & looked back in form. I still think he could be hiuge assets to us has talent is creative & can change a game.
