Niall McDonald  brings his set of marks on the Irons

Fabianski: Racked up 3 more top class saves and supremely confident at corners 8
Antonio: Still best watched through fingers when defending; some great driving runs though 6
Diop: Marshalled the new back-line with a minimum of fuss 7
Ogbonna: Looked extremely composed again. Says much for the work on the training ground that Angelo has slotted in so well 7
Cresswell: Pellegrinni presumably didn’t fancy rolling the dice and playing Masuaku AND Antonio in defence; got forward very well tonight 7
Rice: Brilliant in the first-half. One of our best passers 8
Obiang: Did well. Got stuck in from the start and didn’t let Saints midfield settle 7
Anderson: What did I say Saturday about needing a moment of quality from your creative players? Very quiet apart from the 2 vital moments 7
Snodgrass: Set the tone before the break, does a huge amount of harrying and closing down 7
Diangana: Looked a little out of sorts, found it tough going against the giant Vestergaard 5
Perez: One very bad miss. One decent attempt well blocked. Covered a lot of ground in his 77 mins 5

Subs
Carroll: Starting to think ‘walking pace’ might now be AC’s limit. Frightened Bednarek 4
Noble: Has the skipper ever come on to see out a win? 4

I thought Anderson was excellent Niall he is the jewel in our crown and has been for many games, other than that hard to disagree with too much 🙂
