Ravel set for Boleyn Ground return

|

Ravel MorrisonRavel Morrison looks set for a brief one day return to the Boleyn Ground  in March for Mark Noble’s testimonial on the 28th day of that month.

Rav tweeted to his 114,000 followers on twitter “Mark Noble testimonial just been placed in my diary. Amazing player and person.

We assume, Rav has been invited by Mark to play in the West Ham All Stars XI and he doesn’t just mean he plans to buy a ticket to watch the game.

Ravel Morrison  had his contract terminated by mutual consent last February after West Ham paid up a percentage of his £330,000 wages in advance. Morrison then signed a pre contact with Lazio on a four year deal.

Last month we reported that patience appears to be finally running out for him at Lazio. Italian media claim the Lazio are open to letting go of Morrison in the January transfer but want to recoup at least £750,000 in wages and agent fees they paid to land the former Hammer. The 22-year-old is allegedly  in hot water after leaving Rome without permission from Lazio despite being selected in the Europa League squad to face Dnipro.
