Report: Atalanta ready to rival Hammers for striker

|

Just a couple of days before they arrive at the London Stadium for a prestige friendly, Atlanta are reported to have registered an interest in Hammers target Tammy Abraham.

The striker’s eventual, destination is becoming the soap opera of this particular transfer window although seemingly nobody will go close to the £40 million asking price.

However, it appears that Saturday’s Irons opponents are ready to go to war for the player with Inter Milan keen to sign their striker Duvan Zapeta as a likely replacement for Romelu Lukaka for whom Chelsea are believed to have bid £105 million.

The Mail claims Atalanta have confirmed they are keen to sign Abraham who interests both ourselves and Arsenal after Villa – who were believed to fancy him – moved for Danny Ings.

David Moyes stull sees Abraham as a priority target and Atlanta’s bid will probably be optimistic with the player reportedly wanting to stay in London,
