WWest Ham has been bizarrely linked with a shock move to bring Alexis Sanchez back to the Premier League according to a report by Estadio Deportivo.
Former Arsenal star Sanchez swapped the Emirates for Old Trafford back in 2018 and signed a deal that made him the highest-paid player in the Premier League on around £400,000-a-week. From the minute he signed though things quickly went downhill and the man who, at times, carried the Gunners singlehandedly experienced a sharp decline.
Sanchez scored five times in 45 outings for the Red Devils. He once scored three for Arsenal in 14 minutes against West Ham.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sent the Chilean out on loan at the earliest opportunity however and he moved to Inter Milan.
Sanchez went on to win the Serie A title under Antonio Conte, although he only made 12 starts in their campaign.
The 32-year-old is still thought to earn £250,000 per week before tax.
Last April the Sun reported that West Ham had opened talks with Sanchez’s agents
