West Ham remains in advanced talks with Nikola Milenkovic representatives over a move to East London journalist Nicolò Schira reports this morning.
He claims that the Hammers have offered a four-year contract until 2025 with an option for an additional year.
He says that personal terms of €2.5M/year plus bonuses have been offered to Milenkovic which converts to £2.12m per year or just over £40,000 per week in wages. Fiorentina have been offered €18m by West Ham which equates to just over £15m, West Ham are not the only club interested in the Serbian International and the next few days could be crucial in David Moyes pursuit of a new centre back. Juventus are said to be keen on signing him as well and it remains to be seen they will make a move with time running out in the transfer window.
The 23-year-old defender has just one year remaining on his contract in Italy and Fiorentina know they are now unlikely to get the €30m (£25.5m) they originally valued him at.
£15m and ‘only’ £40kpw. Sounds like a good deal for a quality young player. Would be very pleased to see him and Caleta-Car both come in for more or less the same Zouma alone would have cost
