Report: Hugill agrees Norwich move

|

Jordan Hugill appears to be within 24 hours of officially joining Norwich City from the Irons.

After two years on loan – first at West Brom and last season at Queens Park Rangers – it seems, according to the city’s football Pink ‘un –  that the club will be announcing his arrival.

No fee is mentioned but ClaretandHugh had been told that it could be around £6 million after the 28 year – having been signed by David Moyes for £10 million from Preston North end on his first stint in charge – is happy to let him move on.

Some had believed the striker could have been used in a deal to bring Eberechi Eze to the London Stadium but right now the Hammers are focused on bringing in defenders.

It seems the Canaries headed off possible interest from Nottingham Forest in adding Hugill to a list of new arrivals which currently numbers nine.

According to the Pink ‘un, Hugill is believed to have travelled to Norfolk on Sunday to complete the formalities of his move and is now poised to link up with his new team mates at their German training base.
