Eze left out of friendly as interest hots up

|

Eberechi Eze’s future looks set to be settled sooner rather than later after he was a notable omission from the Queens Park Rangers team that met AFC Wimbledon at the weekend.

And honest Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Warburton made it quite clear that was because of the amount of interest being shown in the player.

It’s not so much a case of if he leaves but when with three possible destinations as things stand at the moment –  West Ham, Crystal Palace, and Fulham.

The 22 year old was left out of the game against AFC as the Cottagers were reported as being ready to launch a bid for the forward.

Thus far, it is understood that Palace are the only club to have offered hard cash but that apparently only amounted to £8 million for a player Rangers rate at between £18m- £20 million.

Rangers boss Mark Warburton wasn’t slow to admit his decision to leave him out of the AFC match was for the most pragmatic of reasons – a likely offer or two.

Trouble with sell before but is most of your targets move before someone pays you for the payers you don’t want
