Report: Irons scout Championship ace

|

West Ham have scouted Middlesbrough star Isaiah Jones ahead of the summer transfer window, according to a new report.

The Championship ace is just 22 but has become a key man for the club, playing primarily on the right wing.

Jones has been with Boro since 2021 and has made 29 appearances this season, scoring once and registering nine assists.

He can also play as a right wing-back or on the left and his versatility has made him an attractive proposition for several Premier League clubs, per TeamTALK.

They report that both Arsenal and Spurs are both scouting him extensively, while the Hammers are also said to have made checks on his development.

In addition, Crystal Palace, Leeds and Wolves have all sent scouts to watch him, while there is burgeoning interest from abroad; Atletico Madrid, Ajax, RB Leipzig, Lyon and Roma are all said to be potential suitors in the summer.

Middlesbrough are impressing under Chris Wilder and are currently seventh in the Championship.
