Hammers know they have no chance

|

West Ham know they have no chance of signing Fabio Carvalho from Fulham despite holding an interest in the impressive teenager.

The attacking midfielder has been heavily linked with a move away from the Championship club and Liverpool made a move to sign him on deadline day.

That deal fell through because of time constraints but Liverpool did agree a fee with Fulham and will attempt to reignite the deal in the summer, per The Daily Star.

Manchester United are also sniffing around, though, and could make a move to hijack Liverpool’s pursuit and strengthen their own squad in the process.

The Hammers, Arsenal, and Spurs are all said to have held a real interest in signing Carvalho, who has scored eight goals from his attacking midfield position this season.

But the trio are said to be aware that he is either moving to Anfield or Old Trafford, leaving claret and blue noses pressed up against the window.

Another great example of dithering Dave, should have been all over this lad very early.

To be brutally honest, why would he sign for us when DM just will not play the U23 players. Dec and Ben Johnson are the only ones and they had first team debuts before DM took over. It’s just not his thing it seems.

Another Carvalho, another non starter for WH.
